On Christmas Day 2008, I took this photo from the Skybus as I travelled around Vancouver for the day taking pictures.
This photo with my DSLR Canon Rebel XTi would not have been possible if not for the achievements of Canadian Willard S. Boyle and George E. Smith who today won the Nobel Prize for Physics for their technological invention that led to the birth of digital photography.
The prize is shared with Charles Kao, who received half the purse.
