The 111th shot on Flickr.
I love taking self-portraits. I especially love the process. I’m all alone in my personal space as I work on adjusting the tripod, camera settings, and location of my manual focus point so that the photo represents what I envisioned.
Today I took 111 different photos using my remote trigger either sitting on the rocks or standing by the tree using different poses.
It is always difficult to focus on where I want my head to be and then make sure my head is there when I take the photo when I manually point focus. However, it is all part of the process of taking self-portraits. As this was the magic hour I kicked up the ISO and as I was also more in the shadows. Sometimes, I wish there were more than 9 focus points on my XSi. Haha.
I’m so happy I stayed to take one final shot, because in the end, that’s the one I chose to upload. -

Saw my specialist today. 62.2 is my current igG (Cancer level). Starting 4th chemo treatment next week in IV and pill form.
Dexamethasone, Cyclophosphamide (chemo), and Velcade (chemo IV form)
